thanks everyone for listening to designstatistics at the events in Stockholm and Malmö!

We will join in and speak about the project on September 2nd at the Pecha Kucha event in Malmö. It will take place at Babel. We will show images from the book and speak about how the project came to life. Hope to see you there!
if you haven’t read the book yet, please have a look here!
We tried to reproduce all portraits we found, to analyze how designers and other actors in the design field (critics, auctionists, manufacturers etc) wer presented in media. Here is an example of an original image and a reproduction where we took away all the extras, and conentrated on the position of the people. Finally, the book DESIGN STATISTICS ANNUAL is available to buy in a pocket version. Go to Vulkan or order it directly from us.

We came back from Milan full of inspiration, and exhausted. If you have a minute, please check out the blog from Marias gratduation project! She and the others did a great job, and will probably appear in some magazines during the near future. Maria shared the exhibition with to other graduation workers. Marias work was all about order, and how to collect and display your objects. Statisticly we really like it!
We will be in Milan this year, watching the design field carefully and collecting statistics. Maria will also exibit her graduation project, don’t miss it! Stay tuned for more information about where, soon.
